L'Union sociale pour l’habitat

L'Union sociale pour l'habitat L'Union sociale pour l’habitat (USH, an association of French housing companies federations based in PARIS) was founded in 1925 and is gathering, by their federations, about 820 social housing companies.

Some of these companies manage more than 4.000.000 rented housings and build annually 60.000 rented housing. Some others companies have built and sold 1.400.000 units.

The direct members of the Union sociale pour l’habitat are "Offices de l’Habitat", "Entreprises Sociales de l’Habitat", "Chambre syndicale des Sociétés Anonymes de Crédits immobiliers de France", "Fédération Nationale des Sociétés Coopératives" and "Fédération nationale des Associations Régionales".

L'Union sociale pour l’habitat is at the origin of the fondation of CECODHAS which gathers the European federations of social housing companies.
